There are plenty of group drives and track days. You just have to get involved. The coffee days aren't so bad. Sometimes it's nice to hang out with friends, look at cars and chat.

SECC is always going for bonzai drives. PCA just had a track day. Pro Auto Sports also just had a track day. You just have to get involved.

That was just the tip of the iceberg!

When I first moved here in the '80s, I lived in an apartment near ASU. As I was studying for my licensing boards by the pool, it was like a great anatomy class!! When my friends from the NY area would call me up and ask me what AZ was like, I would tell them, "Remember looking through Playboy when you were a kid and wondering....... Where the hell do these girls live? The answer was at my apartment complex in AZ!!"

Ya he got rid of his porsches so he cant really show up to PCA events. I'll try and make the next meet and try and convince him to do the same. Thanks

Here in the midwest we have good solid corn fed stock. They look best in winter coats, not so good in bikinis. There are exceptions here in Indy, but I do miss the San Diego girls.

Currently own no car to speak of, as I work from home (day trade futures) and live in an urban setting. Am for the first time able to afford cars previously owned, but holding on to build some real wealth instead, and not waste on irrelevant assets. Last economic depression was an eye-opener for me, watching my employer (and basis of my financial dreams) go down the tubes in a matter of months.
