sl500 2005 ABC RESET?
Hey there,
i get the red light "ABC" "drive carefully"
was thinking, is it any way i can reset it?
i know why is it coming up but i dont want to repair it.
i just want to reset the red light for now.
is it only the dealer who can reset it? or anywhere else?
thanks,
j

No reset that i know of. I have my car being towed at this very minute for the same thing. From what my mechanic has told me is there is a hose that runs between the engine and tranny that fails and causes a leak, which mine has. However, from what i have read there are a number of issues that could be the culprit. Sounds as if you know what your is. I would not recommend driving it. There is s Safety Recall Bulletin # 2008-080004 that is out for our cars which, the letter states MBZ will repair it at no cost...
Good luck
