sl500 2005 ABC RESET?

Hey there,
i get the red light "ABC" "drive carefully"
was thinking, is it any way i can reset it?
i know why is it coming up but i dont want to repair it.
i just want to reset the red light for now.
is it only the dealer who can reset it? or anywhere else?

im pretty sure that when that light comes on you are already fukt. i think it means something is broken

No reset that i know of. I have my car being towed at this very minute for the same thing. From what my mechanic has told me is there is a hose that runs between the engine and tranny that fails and causes a leak, which mine has. However, from what i have read there are a number of issues that could be the culprit. Sounds as if you know what your is. I would not recommend driving it. There is s Safety Recall Bulletin # 2008-080004 that is out for our cars which, the letter states MBZ will repair it at no cost...
