Can i run 255 35 20 tires on the front of my SL55

I currently have 245 35 20 tires on my 04 Sl55 and would like to go a little wider if possible..
Is anyone here running 255's though? Do they rub?
Thanks
Nick

Yes you can and no they will not rub, unless of course your car is ridiculously low, then they might. I am running that exact size of FK452 on the front of my SL55.

Looking for CLS55 AMG
it depends a LOT more on just the tire size. What are the specs of your front wheels. i.e. width, offset and what drop do you have?

Good point, obviously with 20s, my wheels are not factory. I am running Carlsson 1/16 Ultralites and I am running spacers. So i guess my corrected answer would be: "Yes, it is possible with the right wheel and/or spacer combo"

doesn't mean that his wheels are the same specs. Two different wheels can have dramatically different results.

OP what is the rational for running 255's.

Just that i can get them for VERY cheap... Much cheaper than 245's in the same brand/model tire...

Just want to make sure they will fit before i buy..
I am running 20" Brabus VI i think.....
The lowest the car sits is stock lowered mode... I don't have a lowering module...
Thanks for all the input..
