Man don't freak out, usually that's how many of these thread's end..
Many kust loose interest, fight illness or financial issue's and since this is the internet and they are the anonymous strangers, none of them will come back and tell you what happened.
To be honest, that's not our business and alone from the fact what this guy tried/ even he failed he is getting from me a ton of enthusiast's point's!
Instead of shouting at him, you should give this man respect, that's the least we can do not having a clue we what kind of situation he had to deal with, to give up such a project, where so much sweatNtears was involved!
Again RESPECT sir!

I agree to some extent...
However,
Projects like this are above and beyond crazy and take forever to complete. I had a project or two so I know first hand how crazy life gets. Who knows what could of went wrong and if the OP had say life changing events or whatever. However, I would like a update much like yourself.

Update:
The results of the Texas Mile 23-25 Oct.2015 are online now. There is no SL600 listed in the results, so I assume the car did not run or did no complete run.

TEXAS MILE 2017 Soulsearcher SL600 200mph?https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/d
So for all u old timer homies who been here since 2009 you know the story. The rest would need to read the history of this thread.
May years ago we managed a record 197 mph in the Texas Mile that still stands as far as i know.
Speedriven has had the car for about 5 or 6 years. 2 years ago I had it shipped to Texas but it failed to make even one run. Obviously that was not acceptable and I will leave it at that. The car was shipped back to Speedriven a month later.
Well its 2017 and I got a call 8 months ago from Marcin saying he thinks hes cracked the puzzle (looooong story) and the March Texas Mile was possible but that did not pan out. Marcin has moved super slow on this project.
He called me the other day and said October Mile is 100% and that he will be bringing the car personally to the Mile, possibly with another car.
Ya'll understandably have many questions, especially about why its been fermenting at Speedriven for 6 looooooooong years and u will need to pose those questions to Marcin.
Registration is Aug 20th and the event is in late October.
Obviously I am super hesitant about saying much or getting excited at cracking the 200 mph mark due to the many unmet expectations.
As the rednecks say...."The bullsh-- stops when the tailgate drops" and so we'll see come October....200 or bust?
FYI...I am still amazed no one has broken that record (As I toot my own horn).

Man, that's horrible you have been without your car for that long. Really want to upgrade the turbos on mine but don't want it to sit like yours and others have with less than expected results when finished. Hope yours is to your expectation.
