Just for comparison read this.
Just before Christmas I bought a Ford Cosworth Sedan.
A couple of weeks ago I bought a stage 2 upgrade. This consisted of a
chip for my ecu,uprated wastegate actuator, 3 bar sensor, and bigger injectors. I fitted them in about one and a half hours. I can now turn the actuator bar mechanically to increase the boost.
Stock boost 10 psi peak dropping to 7 psi 210 bhp. I am going to increase it
to 25 psi peak dropping to 22 psi that's 320 bhp.
All for 500 pounds
All these figures are taken from an engine dyno. My 63 would have cost around 2000 dollars and has given anything from 15-30hp.
At 1300kgs it's going to be fun, when the bloody weather clears.
If you want you can tune it to 500+ with a strengthened bottom end.
