I'm sorry, but if your car sells in Canada for $55k please let me know. I'll happily start a business with you in which we buy Sl55s in Cali for under $30k and sell them in Canada for $55k. Screw it, I'm not greedy, we'll sell them for $45k, faster turnaround.
Let me know if this thing sells, you might have a new business partner. lol

Hey Bro, I have to correct you real quick like on one issue here. Your sadly mistaken if you feel that by performing all scheduled maintenance's in a timely manner and taking good care of a car, will allow you to drive an SL55 or any AMG for that fact without "Warranty" Worry free. Hell I keep all records of my car and I only allow the Mercedes Benz dealership to service my car, I have used the dog S_ _T out of my warranty. Your statement as quoted is not true, let's keep it real bro. Besides not driving these cars enough is the same as driving them too much. Let a SL sit for 6 month's and see what happens. ABC is your worse nightmare IMO. These cars need to be driven and just starting her during the winter months and not driving her is not good enough. Yes you need a warranty, why do you think one time owners sell these cars before they reach 50K?

Cost 1500$ shipping,2000$ work at mb for running day lights and miles to km,500$ mb clearance paper,14% tax,and RIV and inspection fees ...i would say 45k is gonna be your cost arriving to canada if you find one around mid 30's.

Like everyone else said, overpriced. Why are you trying to sell in on these forums if you can get so much in Canada? Maybe you are asking pesos, lol. Seriously though, I say 30k tops for your car because of the mileage, 2 owners, no warranty, aftermarket rims. GL with sale and keep us posted if a sucker buys your car and if he wants any other cars for an outrageous price.

Okay G cat, lol.
I was just saying nobody on this forum is going to pay that price for that car with that amount of miles. Maybe if it had 5k miles. If you are truly trying to sell the car you would put it at market value before the price drops another couple grand in the next six months to a year. Either way anybody who pays over 35k is loco.

2000 Mercedes Benz S500 Designo
Hate to say it because it's such a pretty car but I wouldn't pay a dime over 30k.
And the worst part is my S class is right there with them. I'd be luck to get 15K for mine and it has the designo option and only 44k miles.
Regardless, MBZs have depreciated pretty heavily and its really sad on one hand, but good for people like me who would love to buy up "cheap" luxury cars Now if only I had some money laying around...

If you have people begging you to sell them your car, why don't you sell it to them? I have heard that wacky tobacky is legal for medical purposes in Canada, Do you or any of these "beggars" have this knowledge first hand?

G kat, being in no rush and asking more than its worth to 99% of the people means you wait longer to sell...which means the car just depreciates more...not very lucrative thinking but to each his own and as the saying goes theres an **** for every seat...all in all looks like a clean 55k..

I agree: cars do sell at a higher price in Canada. Nonetheless whether it's Canada, USA or Johannesburg, 50-55K is too high. 40K$ top if in fact the car is ultra clean and without problems.

Thanks kustom2k1. That is the all time great Ronnie Coleman! I am still an amateur and will not be trying to become pro because I just cannot commit my entire life to bodybuilding, but I still compete and hopefully nationally next year.

I bought my car back in Feb 09 and payed 37k for a low mileage (35K) mint and warrantied 55k, im thinking i got the deal of the century if G can get 50k for his car.
I was thinking, damn that guy mikey has RC's back!! I had a bad back for years, until i started doing heavy dead lifts...all better now :-)....DY had RC beat in the back dept, but not for long..going pro costs lots of money and not to mention time..i used to hang with a pro from the 80's before GH made everyone poor and bloated...but bigger than some minivans! GL with competing.. losing 40lbs when dieting is a big downer not to mention you want to rip everyones head off!

lol I'm in toronto and I just looked at an 03 SL55 w/ 70kms for $39,000 and that car was mint. There was an 04 w/ 83k for $54,000. check trader.ca. But hey maybe his is priced high for a reason, maybe the girl comes with the car?

First time posting, so be KIND! I am also from Toronto and purchased my first 2004 SL55 from M-B Canada. Fully loaded, 58K km and a three year warranty, paid $55K and then add in the taxes and admin charges, I was looking at $63K out the door. Trust me, I did my research before buying, even comparing the total cost to ship one from the US. Yes, car prices are a lot higher in Canada, then in the US, in most part due to the f*&^#K taxes! Our Canadian $ is at par with the US and we still don't get a break.
Back to this posting, yes, maybe $55K is a bit high, but anything around $50K, you should take.
Good luck with your sale!

Haha this is amusing.. You know how much I can get that car from the auction with minimum damage? 18-20k. So basically with 50k I can buy two of those cars and a nice Ducati.

Ok I have a 2004 CLK55 AMG with low miles that I will sell to you for 17k, and since you can sell cars for so expensive I will even ship the car to you for an extra $800.00. You buy this car and we make business, I will pick up some more new AMG's. Here is the link to see my car. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/1700402545.html
