Smile How do you get the rear tires on a SL63 to light up??

I recently got a SL63 and I cant figure out how to do a burnout. I know its childiish and immature but WTF I want to see what 500 ponies can do to a set of tires.

I looked online, but I didnt find anything. Does anyone have a clue? How do you do it in a SL55??

Turn off the traction control and give it about 1/3 throttle then to the floor as required to keep 'em spinning. (I don't need to power brake)
SL63
Read up on your launch control in the manual.

If you really want to cook a set of tires, put the car in dyno mode. It turns off all of the nannies.

Careful driving it like this though. It's not recommend.

Remove E63 motor and replace with E55 Kompressor.

It's actually the slushbox that makes the difference versus the clutchy one.

Call me old fashioned but I can't see the point of burnouts.
Besides ruining the tyres it must put a strain on the drive-train.

Hell, we can do rolling burnouts at anything below 50mph. 700lb-ft will do that. Just sayin.

You guys don't understand --- its not possible to do a burn out in an SL63... the transmission prevents it....

I could never get mine to do one... it just ends up bogging down.

I tried everything short of welding a boat anchor to it. It'll lite up for a sec before it luanches you like a bat out of hell. I realized this wasnt in the cards, but what a car none the less.
