I am not trying to disrespect your car, besides I know what your car looks like underneath all of that rap. Your car is a beauty just the way that she is, the rap thing IMOP is not working for me that's all. Than again, it's your money, your taste and most of all, your Car. So I will shut up about it already and I apologize for my harsh gesture in the earlier post.

wrapping a car .

1. you can change the color without hurting the valve since you can take off off...

2. it protects the paint

3. it's cheaper then a paint job

Yeah I got all of that, but what about the quality in appearance? It looks dull with no shine as if it were primered. There is no substitute for good paint work, besides, if you own an SL than you have no cheap options Bro. It Cost to be the Boss!

I hav never quite got the wrap thing, unless you are advertising a company. We were going to wrap our G500 just for that purpose.

The other day I saw an SL that looked like it was primered. When I got close, it had a mat black wrap. I guess I am old fashioned. I like my cars to shine.

this is the look some are going for, matte finishes are in right now....you can also wrap a car with gloss vinyl as well.....trust me you can't tell a difference between paint and vinyl if done right...

I haven't seen any wraps done like that, do you have any links? Pretty much every wrap job i've seen was supposed to be a carbon wrap or a flat (primerish) never shiny colour

have you ever heard of the golen rule? and you are seriously a senior member? You have nothing constructive to say, you just simply don't like wrap jobs; and that's cool..but this thread wasn't made to talk about who likes what, this is not a poll thread.

I for one don't really like wrap jobs either, but aren't as blunt and callous as you

Watch your mouth Newbie, your not built like that to talk trash here on the Net, besides, talk is cheap especially here on the forum, therefore you don't get no points for that. Get a grip and have a beer fella, I can provide whatever input that I desire. Maybe this is a pissing contest between you and I and I just don't know it or are you trying play big brother for the wrap guy? By the way it's golden rule not golen rule and yes I am a Senior member so stand at attention when you address me.

OK, well I just learned something new today, but I am still old fashioned I suspect and really am not feeling the wrap thing.

looks good , and as long as you like it it doesnt matter what other people think . You should think about painting the brakes and wheels it would set it off.

Doesn't look too bad, but I don't like the matte look personally.

wrap concept started in racing and now is a street fad...teams did this years ago to secure proper representation for sponsors and to cut down costs...as with many things racing, seems that some concepts trickle down as fads to the street car crowds or "tuner" aftermarket crowd...
