If you're going to sell yours after the summer (which is what I understood to be your plan) your biggest leverage will still be that there's an SL55 someone can have now, irrespective of colour.

If I was buying again and didn't already have a blue car, I would have go for Jasper...

hehe if the cleaning of a black car seems hard to you - never get a yellow car

my new seat is yellow and you see every fuc*ing dead fly on the car...

every day you have to clean the front.

Blood (from the Fly's), Dead Fly's etc.

the car looks nice, but the cleaning sucks hard

Completely agree with blueSL regarding red.
The issue with the resale value (confirmed by a number of dealers) is not that the cars aren't great looking, there are just fewer people that would buy them, which makes them stand on the lot a whole lot longer. That turns into lower sales prices and ultimately, lower trade-in values.

It's the same with green or burgundy SL's
