Festival of Speed (St. Pete, Florida) 2010 Slideshow
I was there today with a couple of cars from the tuner house (C2Design) that worked on my SL65 and E55...the other cars in our group were an M3, CLK63, Porsche RS GT3, Aston Martin V8, and a Lamborghini Gallardo.
Note: Renntech's owner (Halmut) was there with a modded C63 w/covered wheels (you'll know what I mean when you see the pics).
Couple of things:
1. Great to meet a couple MBWorld'ers (AkaSigFreak and TanMan350).
2. Ferrari owners really love their logo apparel.
3. Maserati Gran Turismo and Alfa Romeo Zagato were fantastic to look at.
4. The Murcielago's culo is equivalent to Vida Guerra's bumper...luscious and bountiful.
5. RR Phantom should never come in red.
6. I love Aston Martin interiors.
7. The Spyker can look good and bad at the same time.
Overall had a great time...I actually tried to leave a bit early but they stopped me and told me the SL65 won something...Best Contemporary MB...thanks to C2Design.
