Where to buy CHEAP Star Diagnostic
Really want this, but don't want to fork out a few thousand for it. Does anyone in here know where I can get it cheaper. Will even consider a clone, if it works well. Does anyone in here have experience with the clones? Thanks!

I bought a chinese clone from ebay that included an IBM thinkpad laptop and all the associated cables and multiplexor. It hasn't given me any problems yet and has come in handy numerous times for DIY projects and Im guessing it has already paid for itself by allowing me to do small things myself instead of paying MB to do it.

They include EVERYTHING from multiplexers to all cables for all models. This is the real deal!. It comes from Taiwan. The wiz-kids have cracked all the DB security and if you have a problem they will correct it online with TeamViewer. Just don't mess with the system as it is very sensitive to MS updates and stuff and don't add additional software like Firefox or JAVA. DB actually uses a modifided XP OS and if it ain't right it shuts down DAS.

Just looking around these seem like some of the best prices, Please note I have no expirence with this company. I also have seen some versions with the developer software. How many more adjustments are available with the developer software? Is it worth the extra cost?
