SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Opinions SL65 Wheels vs SLR wheels
*Edit.. Just found through another thread that you sold your AMG 2 piece split-spoke wheels.
Did you go with the SLR or another type of wheel?

The stock SL65 Wheels or the SLR wheels... Both are 19 inch with the same tires.
It took a lot of experimenting and then machining of special parts to make the SLR wheels fit but they are on my SL65...
The up side for the SLR wheels is they are wider in the rear (11.5 inches)by 1.5 inches and .5 inch up front... With the wider rears I have better traction so less wheel spin and the car hooks up without the Traction Control kicking in all of the time!
Plus the front SLR wheels are also lighter so the car does handle and drive better...
Please voice your opinions... Flame away!
Thanks
SLR Wheels look awesome!
