I'm looking to buy SL55, but I'm a little bit about it might cost me a lot on repair?

Yes, the SL55 has the potential to be expensive to own. I have my own repair shop and still thought long and hard before taking the plunge.
There is nothing worse than owning one and not being able to maintain it properly. The ABC suspension, SBC brake system, power top system, supercharge/belt drive/water pump, all can really hurt the wallet. You can easily drop $500.00 in just the trunk clouser/ latch and a pair of trunk struts plus labor.
This not a car you take to Jiffy Lube or the corner tire store. You are going to have to bit the bullet and go to a dealer or well equipped independent specialist. Otherwise you'll end up spending more for repairs and service and getting less.
Bottom line, if you are not sure you can afford it, DON'T BUY ONE!

have a dealer do a certified pre owned inspection. then youll know whats wrong with it and what it needs.

Great advise! A pre-purchase inspection is a must.
And I wouldn't recommend buying an aftermarket warranty policy thinking they will fix a laundry list of problems that are found on the inspection. Those policies typically are supposed to cover future problems, not rebuild an improperly maintained auction car.
