Hmm, looks as if you need to do some mods on all your cars

Okay okay,
A little update on the Brabus K8. They cite that they need to schedule an appointment. The job takes 5 days. A few pullys are exchanged and an addition of a secondary intercooler are involved.
I went there thinking it was a 5 hour job whereby I could just come back later in the afternoon.
Not sure about the $15K price though, for a upgrade from 493HP to 540HP. They claim that their exhaust system is necessary for the additional 10HP (550HP), though it takes away the agressive rumble of the stock unit.
On top of that, the sales person told me that one of the cars they did clocked 0~60MPH in 3.9 secs. I find that a bit hard to believe based on the modifications and the powers that are yielded. I don't see how the SL55 is capable of that. Shaving the factory claimed "4.5 sec" to "3.9 sec" will require more than a few pully changes and 47HP gain.
I think I'll call Kleemann and get their take on what the SL55 can do with their magic before I get suckered. Brabus wheels are gorgeous though (Monoblock 6).
Oh and before I forget, they claim that any dealership will not void the warranty after the modifications. I asked if he could put that in writing and he said "no". Just be warned.

That was my next question....do these mods void the warranty. I am considering the Renntech mods cuz they are so close to me in West Palm, but im leery of voiding a $125,000 car's warranty for a measly 45 horses.
Keep us posted.

After viewing the Brabus SL55 K8 in their showroom...that is one AWESOME automobile...And Brabus automobiles are synonymous with professional engineering also has gain true tuner recognition, most (SFV) dealerships I have done business with know and realize the companys' quest for the highest quality.
The K8 should transform your SL55 into an exhilarating driving experience.
I was quoted $5000 for the B 10 tuning for my E430...the install is a 3 day event with gains of 20-25 HP, including the dyno tune...but I'm still deciding
Good Luck in your quest for performance

Thanks for the compliment guys.
The Turbo looks stock, but underneath it has 600HP. Sometime soon if I decide to play with it more, I might up the stage from 4 to stage 5 which should put it around 700~750HP? The only reason stopping me is due to the fact that the shaft needs to be removed (so no more AWD)...otherwise it will snap under immense power. That in itself is a lengthy job....
