You were able to give me the right tire size on the yellow sl and now I have another question. What would you recommend for wheel and tire size if I wanted to have something that would stand out and be appropriate for the car. I am not interested in rolling fenders as I did this on my daughters M3. I would like something more than a 285 size tire but if a 12" fits ok than great I will put on 305's. I have ordered some wheels thru kleemann, but now after getting the car I feel they are too much like stock. Kleeman USA told me the 12" would require rolling, but I was hoping you could tell me how far I could go with the rim size . I have ordered 20" (8.5's and 10's) A n 18" or 19" could be an option as well. You may email me your answer if you like.

hmm 20"'s should fit the SL very well.

But a side question, are you getting Toyo Tires with your Rims ?

First of all you ordered 9,5 x 20 and 10,5 x 20

KLEEMANN TS-6 will only be produced in 19" and 20". 19" will come later this summer after 20" has been launched.

In my oppinion you should go for nothing less than 20", smaller it looks like a toy car compared.

The trick with the 12" and 305 rear wheels, is that the wider the rims get the more the tire walls will lye down and clear the wing easier, where the 305 on a 10,5 some times will take just as much work to clear the wing, because it bubbles out from the rim.

Even the BRABUS 10" takes body work with the 305, so some body work might be neccesary with the KLEEMANN 9,5 & 10,5.

The KLEEMANN wheels comes with different adapter ( spacer ) possebilities, which means we can " play " with the offset.

Body work is not something you just do on a SL, customers will travel 4-600 km in Germany, to visit the right shops, which really can do the work with out repainting the whole car afterwards.

I can't remember all sizes by memory ( mostly because it's a new item ), send an e-mail to ca@kleemann.dk, then you will get info on what is needed and whats not.

actually Cory at Kleemann US ordered me 8.5 and 10. I got an email confirming this. I will email for the sizes. Thank you for your help. I agree on the 20" size.

It will be a little difficult to order a 8,5 x 20, when the 20" starts
at 9 x 20, 9,5x20, 10x20, 10,5x20, 11x20, 11,5x20 and 12x20.

In the beginning only 9,5 - 10,5 and 12 x 20 will be avalible, any way I spoke with Brandon on the phone and agreed 9,5 and 10,5 x 20.
