shift knob removal
keyless go shifter removal is pretty much same as regular shifter
just make sure don't bend the connector pins

Thanks for your response. I had read the keyless go shifter thread in the past and specifically wanted to avoid breaking/bending/ruining the pins.
In rereading the thread now, I think I'm still confused the best approach to prevent breakage.
Your instructions explain to be sure the pins are all the way into the holes before tightening, but don't cover how to safely remove the shifter/button without damaging the pins.
Could you (or anyone) clarify that part so I can save myself the soldering solution headache part

Is not that complicated!
1 pull up the boot
2 release the nut at the bottom (clockwise, as I remember)
3 pull the whole shifter knob straight up
DONE~

Hello, I have a couple of quick questions, this may be off the topic but I'm having problem with my shifter. Since you are the professional in this type of job. I am hoping you can help me. My shifter is stuck in "Park" how can I remove the panel on my center console? Is is possible to remove the panel w/o shifting the gear from park to neutral? Your reply is very much appreciated.
