SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: illuminated door sill question ???

illuminated door sill question ???
Maybe someone can clear something up for me. my dealer is giving me the illuminated door sills for free but maybe someone can tell me if the aluminum on the amg illuminated door sills matches the aluminum in the car. they recieved some today which were the wrong ones,(they said SL instead of AMG), but i noticed the aluminum on them is completely different than the aluminum in the car. if the amg ones are the same then i dont want them as they dont look nice. the aluminum is too shiny. I dont want to make the dealer order them from germany only to tell him i dont want them after. Any help appreciated.

PS .. looked at my car today for the first time today and i have to say the ash interior with the black wood looks just awesome. much classier than the aluminum.

I have attached a photo of my original AMG illuminated sills. The aluminum is not too shiny, but as you can see, it is different from the aluminum in the car. The aluminum in the car is much more brighter.
But I recommend to you to take it nevertheless. You will be fascinated, particularly in the night!

door sills
the sills my dealer is giving me just came in. they say its half day to install. i dont know how hard really. i am putting them because they are free but i dont think i would spend the 1000. dollars they want for them here. car looks fine with stocks sills if you ask me. the aluminum doesnt match the rest of the interior aluminum exactly which bothers me but i will have both sets so can always change back after awhile if i wish.
