Been trying to contact Marcin at Speedriven for over a month. Any one hear from him lately? Is he out of town on location somewhere?..
That's what I said back in June already... I then gave up after total silence since April.
Sooo, still Status Quo, huh..?
Unbelievable!
Nobody, I repeat NOBODY else, can be so tied up in his work like this guy!
Because the several minutes it takes him to just write an e-mail back, is so toootally out of the question for this guy!
To say the least, it sure takes some strange priorities, not having THE TIME to sell his own stuff..?!

I've emailed him twice, via his website within the last 3 weeks, and got prompt replies both times.

Max I dunno man...I've talked to Marcin at length and he's great...and like Clay said he's promt. Maybe he is just super swamped getting ready for Texas mile or something

Marcin has GREAT products (TCU/ECU) and has a great reputation. All we want to do is make him money and buy his products!!!
But I have called him 20+ times leaving many messages and I also emailed a few times with absolutely no response. Sunir how do you guys get in touch with him?
Other people I have given his number to say the same thing."he never answered his phone or calls back"
I know his time is very limited but at least one email like " To busy! call me in a month" or something similar would make sense.

I dunno man I just called and he picked up and we talked for a long while...Ironically it was me who had to end the call, Marcin kept on talking about all kinds of things from theory to building and design...both of us have engineering backgrounds so I really enjoyed the discussions. He knows his stuff...not just V12TT either, he is well versed in the actual engineering behind the applications, way beyond the realm of bolt on performance.Originally Posted by EXECMALIBU

He is getting ready for the Mile so right now is not a good time to reach him. He is bringing some staff very soon. We will see much of speedriven as they will answer to the clients.

Hi, guys - I'm helping Marcin out with the website, etc. so *I* may be part of why he's been hard to get a hold of. Anyway, he's there all week - try the new office line from the site??

I can tell you a little bit about it. The idea for upgraded turbos had been on both mine and Marcin's mind for quite a while( and even Jody's). Since I have been racing for over 15 years, I had run the idea by a few people I had past dealings with in the turbocharger manufacturing business. After extended and repeated delays, the responses I received were not what I wanted to hear."Sorry, we can't do it" or "we need to make a special fixture in order to machine the housings properly and we're not interested in making such a fixture for such a small production run vehicle". Big name turbo companies, no results. Originally Posted by DCMETRO22Z

Finally, Marcin decided to take it a step further. It became apparent that if we were going to have upgraded wheels installed in the stock turbos, we would have to outsource EVERY part of the build. The design, manufacturing and assembly would each be performed by a different company. So three different companies were contracted to perform their respective tasks. The prototype set was installed on my car a few weeks ago and is in the testing phase. Being that this is a "first of its kind" development of a turbocharger by a tuner that I'm aware of, we're being very cautious and very observant of the new product. They have been out of the car once already for modifications. I can tell you that there is a definite power increase as air fuel mixture was very lean before the re-tune. The power does not fall off after 5000 rpm and it pulls to 6000 rpm effortlessly. Boost is steady up to 6000rpm, no more drop off. I will do a full write up once the testing phase is complete.

The turbo upgrade sounds promising. Glad they decided to finish the Idea.
