2004 SL55

WTB 2004 R230 Comand HU

WTB 2004 R230 Comand HU or working CD drive section. The CD0 drive in my Comand HU has never worked.

How much are you looking to pay? I'm getting the new HU soon and mine will be for sale but depends on the price I can do the upgrade sooner.

BTW, I have the 03 comand which is the same with 04 and I have the latest CD for it, too.

2004 SL55

2003 is slightly different than a 2004. No SAT button and thus the SW is different. I am unsure if the internal electronics is interchangable with my 2004. I am awaiting some answers on this. I need to replace the CD section on my unit with a working one. A 2003 CD may be the same. This will assure my car will not need to go to the dealer to have the HU coded.

How many miles on your car? Do you use the internal CD much?
