These is the only one I made so far, but you can clearly see the alcantara roof, safety car steering wheel, wood trim parts and the black leather.

2002 S430, 2001 ML 55, SL 55 on order
i am wondering if that roof material (alcantra) is not standard as my car seems to have it and i didnt order it specially. i didnt know the name and just called is suede but it looks like what you show in the picture. that steering wheel that matches definitely something to look into. very nice looking.

In some countries it is standard if you order the exclusive nappa leather trim. However, if you want it in black, it's a special order again.

Ronald, make some better pics of the interior when you have time, I want to see the designo seats and how different they are from the AMG ones. I got to see an E55, and an S55 last night and they had very nice supportive seats. The designo, is more luxurious but not as sporty on antoher Mercedes that I saw..l Just never saw AMG with Designo in one combo.

They are the exaxt same seats than in evey other SL 55 AMG (they even have the AMG logo). Designo does not make individual seats - just higher quality / individual leather trims and trim parts.

Weird, the E class and S class (Non-Amg) models had plusher seats, perhaps the foam in the bottom of the leather is a bit more filled..

Non-AMG models have different seats. If you order a designo trim for a non-AMG model, you still get the standard (non-AMG) seats with a special leather trim.
