M285 upgrades
Gentlemen,
I'm new to the forum and currently building a c11 reproduction and have on hand a M285 36 valve 6.0 V12 motor. I'm curious as to what are the best places to purchase upgraded turbos, replacement con rods, valves, porting work on the top end etc. I'm new to Mercedes being a Vette and Porsche collector, but see a lot of potential out of these 12cyl motors with massive torque. I just need to unlock it. I see evosport, but who else other than big name like Brabus does work? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I would tell you to click on the vendors section at the top of this page on the blue bar. Most are the reputable sponsors. I have been familuar with Renntech for several yrs. This is a former mercedes technician who does extensive tuning work and has a great reputation, but there are others like; Evo Sport,Eurotech,Veloce
