The old exhaust doesn't look right with the new rear bumper. I remember we test fitted the rear bumper before the 2010 SL65 mufflers arrived. The old exhaust tips stuck inside the bumper so much it looked awful. So, I highly recommend you do something with the exhaust if you are considering this modification.

Good work. Makes me miss my pre-facelift SL65. Only mistake was canning the evil stock 19s for those nasty wheels, but it sounds like you realize that so I won't bust your ***** anymore.

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words!
Nstar: Thanks! Yea, It wasn't a realization though. The wheels were planned to be used temporarily from the start and still are. I'll snap some pics after we get the new wheels.
The stock 65 wheels look good with the old body... It didn't look right with the new 2010 face lift either

Thanks! If memory serves me correct. It's the bumper, diffuser, under panel, L + r rear fender liners, and a few brackets and a bunch of those plastic rivets.

Sorry I don't have those part #s. Its kind of complicated ordering parts from Mercedes sometimes. They ask you for the vin number.... Logic motorsports has accounts and works closesly with a few MB dealers such as House of imports and Fletcher Jones.

Parts Number or Names?
Hi Max, can you possibly post all the part names or part numbers used for this conversion? I am trying to do the same conversion and would really appreciate the help.
By the way, have you tried ordered from parts.com? I believe they also carry genuine parts at a pretty good discount.
Thanks!
Brendan

I really didn't think that the ugly tan interior would look good with carbon fiber but I kind of like it. The steering wheel doesn't look as out of place with that cowl over the speedometer wrapped to match it. I think blacking out the A/C vents might help a little too.

Been really busy. Got a chance to swap the wheels out. Here's what Ive done so far...
20 inch concave wheels custom painted in matte black
matte black lugs
Blacked out front grill (Color matched inserts on the front grill)
