Question Question on auxillary fuel pump problem

My SL55 is scheduled to be built the second decade in May (can't wait). I have been reading about the problems that early owners have had with the rattling noise caused by the auxillary fuel pump problem. The remedy seems to be that MB is replacing the gas tanks.

Do you think the problem has been rectified, by using the newer gas tank, in models that are now being built. I would be interested to hear from people that just recently picked up their car to see if they have had the same issue, or whether it was addressed in the manufacturing process.

My car is 2nd decade March and has the problem. The tanks are supposed to be backordered in Germany. I have not heard of anyone getting a new tank to see if problem was resolved. Don't know if new cars are getting new tanks yet.
