Does anyone have any idea if SL65 will continue in the new car?
Will they discontinue it or just upgrade the engine as in current S/CL65?

Sorry to bring the bad news, but here was the official announcement of the future of the SL65 as posted on the Private lounge.
"Due to changes in certification regulations, the final month of production for this model will be August, 2010. After this, the R230 SL65 AMG will be discontinued for the remainder of the R230 lifecycle."
I was disappointed also.

Looks like a very careful wording,stressing the R230 symbol repeatedly.
All it says is that CURRENT SL is discontinued with that engine.
