SL600 Exhaust
I know a lot of SL600 guys post over here, So I'll toss this up in here.
In the madness that is MBH Motorsports. Whenever we set a date to start a new project for product development. It always seems to be pushed back due to existing product orders. Or incoming orders that take president. Every now and then we squeeze out something new for a Dyno-Comp customer. We recently did an exhaust on an SL600. With that said, I'm having a difficult time deciding if I should fixture the this SL600 muffler set up. The reason I'm have a hard time is... The customer wanted AMG tips on his car. In order to make the twin tips fit we had to trim the rear a little bit. I guess I could alter the tips for production to fit the stock opening?
lately we've done a bunch of projects. where I've made the call NOT reproduce a product. partly because of the small market and the cost to make the fixture.
With that said, Should I fixture this set up? I also have an Xpipe for a SL600, but to be honest, I don't have any numbers on that.
Your thoughts?

V12-Biturbo
the tips will always need trimming on the smaller 600 openings. For optimal sound NO mufflers & leave the stk H pipe it creates/keeps great burble on decell. To take over the top remove oem beerKeg size cats replace w/90% smaller 300 cell (obviously replace o2 bungs to proper areas) NO chk engine lights!
I just passed strict CA smog w/all my mods in sig w/no funny business on 91 octane the sound is ferocious turns heads daily.
Lastly stk Hpipe is so space limited to begin w/due to how low 600/65 models sit even in stk form it's bet left alone + goin to X pipe greatly reduces that aggresive burble it's very cool setup way I describe X pipe will not add ADD any hp on v12tt it justs evens out exhaust pulses making already tame turbo muffled exhaust extra quiet.

RE: SL600 Exhaust
A little feedback. I have interest, depending on price, but am not up for cutting the bumper. I'd like some more sound and better flow, but without cruise rpm "drone"......which is why I have not done straight pipes as several knowledgable folks have recommended.
Please do get in touch if you build a rear muffler setup that meets those criteria and will work with the stock bumper, I'm sure others here would have interest as well.
