Guy, please try & learn something we were NEVER COMPARING ALL PART # differences, we were trying to discuss why 65/600 will make near identical hp/tq w/same speedriven upgrades. yes I kno the 65 has lsd & upgraded clutch packs etc..what does this have to do with HOW MUCH HP they make w/same upgrades? I even mentioned my trans was bring upgraded as will ANY 65 to handle 800+ rwhp now onto your IGNORANCE OF INTERCOOLER SIZING??? Do you kno where they are? take off your engine covers, they're the square metal boxes duhh toward the firewall, report back how much bigger they are?? Again it's POINTLESS AS YOU are obviously from another country (hopefully? if not wow! just WoW) the intercoolers & cai are UPGRADED W/EXACT SAME PARTS ON BOTH/ALL/ANY 65-600 model v12biturbo autos.. Now please for the love of God STFUP!! you literally are a gold plated moron...

I'm fairly new here, but agree with your assessment. It's quite funny actually seeing TheRicker get all worked up over nothing. I think he's a little bitter about the choice of kit he ended up putting on his beast. I think he may have done it differently if he could do it all over again.

It's starting to get unanimous that the MISHA kit =

Nah, Sean is a good guy. He's just very passionate about his car, and I can certainly relate to that. He has a sharp tongue at times, but he's also one of the most educated people on here about the R230 platform, specifically the V12 variants. Hell, I've texted him and actully picked up the phone a few times and called him when I was stuck and needed help on some things. He's always been helpful...

Now, if he would stop messing around making it pretty, and run the damn thing down the 1/4 mile.....

Just a random data point- the sl65 and sl600 intercoolers are not the same and are different part numbers. At least one side were not the same if I recall correctly and the price was different.

On power given the same mods- unlikely. The 65 and the 600 have different turbine wheels (sl65 has bigger). I have also observed that the 65 motors run slightly higher compression compared to the 600. The 65 motors also tend to run a bit cooler.

I am very suspicious that with same mods the 65 motor will make a bit more power.

IC's bare different part #'s but they are the exact same part & flow the same amount of coolant as 600 models Nobody's arguing if 600 & 65 had same mods (besides turb upgrades) the 65 obviously should make more. What I've been saying is AFTER Turbo upgrades the NET hp/tq will be nearly the same..

No, my thought was that with the same mods the net gain of the 65 car might be a bit more.

And one side of the intercoolers (left?) have a $400 price difference between the 65 and the 600. If they are the same that is some funny business right there I do not know if they flow the same though.

Honda Accord forums LMFAO!!!!

... You think they argue about part numbers over there?

On a serious note Sean I wish they would have had this kit when my 600 was around. Definitely would still be driving the six owe today. Looking forward to 1/4 plus dynos!!
