SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: need advice on purchase

need advice on purchase
hello everyone. i'm new to the forum. have owned two clk320's in the past. after a new job and a move to california, i am looking at purchasing an sl550 or an sl65. here are my questions:
1. what's a good price for an 06 sl65 with 20k, cpo from a dealership?
2. i really dont drive that fast. is the v12 on the sl 65 worth the money for everyday driving? or would i be better off utilizing the extra cash to get a more recent model year sl550?

If you aren't looking to go that fast, a 550 would be a nice car, or you could just get a 600 as opposed to a 65

Those are two pretty different versions of the SL. I would think if you don't care about horsepower or torque that much, then I would point you towards the SL550. Plenty of car for everyday, around town usage and less expensive to maintain.
You did not mention it, but you might want to look at the SL55. Not as crazy as the Sl65 but certainly much more of a muscle car-type experinece than the SL550.
I looked at the SL550, SL55, and SL600 when I bought my car. I endedup with the SL55 because it felt like the right car, but I would have been happy with an SL550 if I would have found the right color/price combo.
