SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Confusion reigns...
Then I read there is a new V8 twin turbo. And low and behold the new
CLS has the V8 TT. But over the weekend I read there is going to be a new
CLK Black, fitted with..........nat aspirated 6.3. Now I have just read the new
E63 has a V8 TT. and they say it's bloody amazingly fast.
Make up your minds boys, chop the nat *** engines and just go for the
V8 TT in various forms of tune for different models. The new M5 has gone over to V8 TT as well. It's the way to go, and easy to tune.

the "bs" cars are marketed as track cars (except i see nothing track-worthy in the sl65 bs and only marginal track-worthness in the clk).
if the new clk bs is trully to get a 63 n/a motor this is because it tries to cater more to the "track" image as n/a motors are easier to drive fast around tracks due to their power delivery nature.

marketed as track cars. The CLK is the ultimate small coupe or convertible,
and with the V8 TT is instantly suitable for big extra tuning, instead of
the new CLK which offers a measly 20bhp more than the standard CLK AMG.
Any way, I don't think ANY Merc's excel on the track.
