2005 M5, V10, 500+ Hp

Just got my autoweek mag and there it is a spy article of the next generation M5, which will debut in the USA at the end of 2004.
Will carry a F1-inspired 500-plus-hp V10, 5.0 to 5.5 liters, 0-60 in less than 4.5 sec.
It will be a fiercy competitor for the SL55, but not on looks, the car is just plain ugly, and by then the SL65 twin turbo will be out.

Too Young To Drive
Ooooh yeah, 500 of Pure Naturally Aspirated power baby. Couple that with a 7-speed SMG. Would be a tight match between the SL65 and the M5 (considering that the SL65 would probably weigh about 500lbs more and has an Auto), only difference is the M5 costs oh SOO much less.

996 Turbo
Why are we comparing the SL55 to the M5?

Why not compare the Enzo to the M5. Both are N/A after all

911 GT3 anyone?

Compare the M5 to the E55 or E65 (if there EVER is one).
