Supercharger Problem- Please Help!
Hi Guys
My supercharger keeps cutting out after spirited driving...leave few mins and then is fine again.
All the usual symtoms of SC pump so Ive had this replaced.
I also had the fuses checked in all 3 fuse boxes to make sure they were all functioning. (Another cause of sc failure).
Now I'm still having the same problem and unsure as to what it could be despite all the searching on here
.
Any help greatly received!

after replacing your pump did you blled the system well?
when the ambient temp is in the triple digits even a updated ic pump will fail to cool the intake charge enough

First thing you need to do, is data log a spirited run. Watch your IATs, and if they're high, like shardul metioned, it's something in your cooling system. Bad IC pump, low functioning IC pump, or air in the cooling system.
If IATs are in check, you can move on to the blower itself, s/c clutch, etc...

As far as im aware the system was bled well....but sounds like i should do a coolant flush to begin with. If that dosent cure it then will look into this data logging.....which brings me onto the next question- how do i do that!? lol.

There's TONS of info in this forum, and too many to choose from. It's just a box that's plugs into your OBDII port. Actually, you can get away with just a scan tool like the ScanguageII, but it won't log. It'll just show you information real-time.
Personally, I use the Kiwi Wifi data logger tool, and pump it out to my iPhone, using the Rev2 app, over bluetooth. You can always go with the popular Dashdaq as well.
A data logger is something you should invest in, if you own a 55K. Especially, if you're into modding.

Haha ok ok, thank you for that info.
This is all unfamiliar to me with only just entering the big boys toys league. Am used to driving supercars everyday but living with one and maintaining one is a different story!
