SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Looking for a mint SL55, can't get over selling my E55!

Looking for a mint SL55, can't get over selling my E55!
Sold my E55 18 months ago and haven't been happy without a 55K around since! Almost bought a G55 but think I would be happier with a more conventional 55. So......
Looking for a mint low mile (prefer 20K or less) SL55 and would love to have one with a red interior regardless of exterior color but would settle for something else. Not too concerned about exterior color. The year isn't that important as long as the price is in line with the vintage.
I have combed all the usual places and come up short so I thought I would give the forum a shot!
Closest cars I've found to what I'm after are a black on red '05 in Dallas that was sold when I found it and a white over gray '06 at EA that is way over priced like every other vehicle they sell.
I am hoping to have a 55 in the garage by the end of next week so any help is greatly appreciated!

My best friend had a black on berry SL55 that was absolutely ****. Alas, it was an '04 and had a ton of problems.

Yeah I know. You should definitely go after an '05+, the '04's have some build quality issues. (cue '03 and '04 owners getting butthurt)

My 04 has not given me much issues at all. It runs strong and condtion wise looks better than 2009s that I have seen. I love my 04 and would never give it up. The only thing I like better about the 05s is that the head unit change which in my opinion looks way way better.

Thanks but I have got rid of some of my other cars and the SL is a keeper. It now has 4500 miles on it.
Try looking on ebay every so often a good car shows up on there. That is were I found mine and it only had 1400 miles on it when I got it last year. Good luck in you quest.

Saw the car in Canada but didn't want to deal with that. Ended up with a 15K mile '05 and hoping to see it early this week but having trouble arranging for transport.
Trying to find time to research my cosmetic mod list. Still struggling with a good source for an MP Design wheel.

Bruce Mendel gets the nicest cars for the best prices I've seen. He landed me a near perfect 2005 S600 with 31k on the odometer for a price no one believes.
He's honest and reliable and only get top tier vehicles.

Thanks guys. I bought a one owner 15K mile '05 with 2.9 years of extended warranty, Vossen wheels, and a set of factory wheels. Only issue is that it is sitting in Atlanta and having transport issues (knew I should have jumped in and driven it home).

It is silver over black with Parktronic, Keyless Go, Active Vented Seats, and Bi-Xenons for an undisclosed but fair amount.
Wheels are 20" O78 Voseens and look great. No other mods (yet).
