All was fine with the warranty until the car developed a rocking motion (rear end when accelerating) to the point of losing control completely.
The new service mgr called MB for assistance, their tech found the mods, washed his hands of the problem and slapped Status 8 on my car (void warranty).
Be carefull.....

Thanks for that information. This is the kind of story that makes me very cautious about moving forward with mods; and if I understand correctly, your mods were performed by the dealer before you took delivery? There are many I would like to move forward with, but if a mod can void any part of a $5K extended warranty on a $100K car, the damage could potentially be more than I can recover from. Wheels seem to be the only safe bet.

And is everyone these days buying 65s? what the hell lol Im so jealous of you V12 Bi-Turbo Guys, if anyone wants to trade for a little V8 with a little Supercharger plz don't hesitate to PM me. hehehe
As far as mods go, hopefully the V12 guys will jump in, but my understanding is a tune and minor exhaust mods will result in nice gains. There are lots of good modules that allow you to flash back and forth from stock to modded tunes on the fly as mentioned before. I have heard good things about the Renntech RAT.
I would think the dealer would have trouble denying warranty coverage on a car with a stock tune (as far as they know) and a few minor exhaust mods.
Mine will probably stay stock until the warranty runs out!
