Styling is a matter of very personal preference.
Otherwise,the new SL is on a different level from the old one,dynamically,performance,comfort and most of all fit and finish.
I loved my SL65 (when it was not in service for it's numerous faults)but it's quality of interior materials (also my later 2009 SL63) really sucked,unbecoming and embarassing for any car in that price range.
Enjoy your car while even the new SL500 will run circles around it......

Oh and the quality of the interior will be better without seeing it.
and you are sure a saddistloving a car when it was not in service for it's numerous faults.
At least it will be better than your 65, but 63..nah!
