Calling MBH
I've tried getting in touch with you a few times through Dyno-Comp and on the forum but just wondering if you had plans to fabricate an exhaust system to mate up to your headers on the sl55 platform? It would be awesome to have a bolt-on setup. Do any of the other setups match up close enough it could be installed with a few tweaks?

Bumping for a response. I have your headers and would be in for this if you release. Otherwise I'll have to sell for Supersprint (overpriced in my opinion) as I want something I can return to stock later.

Ok, I'm back. After taking that Superbowl loss right in the gut and some minor surgery this week. I'm back in action. I will have something for the SL (exhaust wise) very soon. First things first is, it has to sound great and drone has to be kept in check. Its a fine line, but since I own the shop and the car, it will be done.
For people looking for an affordable sound mod. maybe check out some electronic cutouts. you can dial in the sound from mild to crazy and anything in between. I absolutely love mind. However for the guys looking for a custom Stainless steel system. I will have you covered soon enough.

Thank you sir for the reply and sorry to hear about the surgery. If you do intend to make the mid-pipe setup soon (for me that's the next 1-2 months) I would be willing to pre-pay if that helps make a decision on whether or not its financially viable for you to produce.

The surgery was nothing major, in fact it was to fix a mistake they made. I was totally fine after. I has some stitches in my neck a few moths ago. Well, they didn't remove 2 halfs of the stitches when they where cutting them out. So my neck kept getting infected trying to push out the stitches they left in (under the skin) So they had to go back in and slice me open and rip out a cyst that formed over the threads that where still in my neck. Now I have another set of 5 stitches in my neck. So any movement that makes me sweat causes the stitched up wound to sting like crazy. So I've been trying not to move for a day.
Ok on to the Mid-section idea. The mid-section on an SL would be huge. For example If you are running our headers. The mid-section would start from the end of the header and go all the way back to the clamps near the resonators. It would be a rather large piece. I can do it, thats not the problem. Its pricing out the 3" tubing to cover the distance needed to get to a factory clamp on a SL55.
I need to get my car on the lift with a take measure, paper and pen and calculate the cost of materials that would be needed. along with how many bends it will take to get the job done. Also the system would have to be able to be shipped. Realizing a 7 foot section of pipe would be crazy expensive to ship, The system would need to me made in sections with slip fit joints.
With that said... I need to factor in how much pipe is needed, how many clamps I will need, hanger brackets, o2 bungs and how many bends need to be made. Along with making the system fit in a reasonable sized box.
Hope this give some people an idea as to what it takes to get something like this done.

Thanks for the explanation. I know its a lot of work and if your headers weren't such great pieces I wouldn't be throwing money at you to purchase the mid pipe setup
. I would definitely be in for a set.
