SL63 AMG :

The heat expansion of the exhaust system is a very critical factor on these 6.2 engines, and it often leads to the failure of one or more components, if the design does not take it into the proper consideration. The Supersprint headers, with their proprietary free-floating flanges and spring-loaded sealing rings, effectively neutralize all of the heat induced tensions placed on the individual pipes; provide the ideal resistance of the entire system to the thermal cycles, and a maintenance-free, long life.

I don't get how the racing x-pipe adds 700.00 to Package 1 price (to become Package 2), yet it only deducts 200.00 off the Package 4 price (catback + xpipe) if you're quoting 2,699 for the catback alone?

The packages are not build sequentially - they are built off cost and euro conversion. They cannot be compared inbetween packages.

There are several online places that advertise the rear mufflers at around ~2,500, can you beat that price?

I don't want to get any of the other vendors in trouble if Supersprint has MSRP advertising guidelines but the price is 2,550 with free shipping... you can probably google it that's how I found it also.
