SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Stuck on the lawn - in park alarm goes off etc...
So car stuck in park.
Trunk lock mechanism or trunk assist not functioning
The red light indicator on the drivers door on=trunk open ( even when it's closed)
Central locking won't work
When convenience battery is re-connected and drivers door is opened, alarm goes of for ca3 sek
I thought much of the problem could have been because of low voltage. It was 12v when using power windows but a fresh battery with jump cables made no difference to any of the problems.
I was hoping truck lock fault triggered alarm which equalled car in park.
Hoping this is not related to the faulty pee pump.
HELP!!!!

Replace pump, find leak (blown pump means you have an air leak) reset 20 amp fuse behind pass seat and you should be good.
So if the trunk is closed (need to open with key in fob) but the red light indicator inside the drivers door wall is on that means it can be closed "more"
Is that why some people say they try to slam the trunk shut?
I can see how the trunk issue causes the alarm to malfunction but is the mechanism which lock the gear in "p" part of the alarm?
Just trying to isolate if I have one or two problems ( with the car that is)...
Thanks to all fellow mb drivers who is so helpful in this forum
Can somebody confirm if the mechanism locking the car in park is part of the alarm as well (in addition to the child safety feature).
Thanks
