2009 SL65

(PICS) 2009 SL65 Black on black, and 'dipped' in CF

My 2009 SL65 is done... for now. I might do stage 2 or even stage 3 renntech at some point... hit the 700HP mark. But for now, 670HP will have to do.

Here are the mods/upgrades:
- Renntech Upgrades:
+ Renntech stage 1 (ECU/TCU): 670HP
+ Renntech SS Exhaust upgrade
+ Renntech Signature 3-piece wheels, with MB caps (20" in front, 21" in rear)
+ Renntech lowering module
- Radar/laser interceptors (installed in rearview mirror)
- Carbon Fiber upgrades:
+ Rear Spoiler
+ Diffuser
+ Front lower-corner fenders
+ steering wheel (thanks DCT)
+ shift knob (thanks DCT)
+ side mirrors (thanks DCT)
- MB media interface (for Pandora, etc.)
- Painted grey front bar black (SL65 only)
- Smoked side marker lights
- Clear bra installed
- Window tint

Not sure of the specifics, but when the car is put into reverse, the camera automatically engages and shows on the command screen. However, the command must already be turned on - unfortunately, putting it in reverse doesn't turn the screen on, which is not ideal. Other than that, it's great and works like OEM.

Ever think about painting the side fender vents and fog light bezels black to match the car? I think it would be a nice but aggressive change.

I'm quite happy with 600hp. I can't imagine 670-700hp and 800tq

What a beautiful car! Can't believe that you only put 8k miles on it in 4 years, especially after tuning it... Those cars are there to be driven an enjoyed.
I originally didn't care for the R230 facelift, but now think it is the best looking design.Good luck with the sale!
