memory malfunction sos

hi guys, i get this memory malfunction - 1 malfunction message. when i check it it says "SOS- Please authorize" - how to fix this? attached are pics of the messages - thanks in advance!

I guess you have to step up & pay for the service if you want that to go away.

I never bothered, & nobody has come by my house to put the strongarm on me yet .

Did you push the "SOS" button? will show a malfunction if your not subscribed I would think. I've never pushed mine, could try it and see if malfunction comes up.

i heard that possibly fitting a Bluetooth phone would fix the problem?

SL65 S63 S450 SLK230
Had Cartronics Bluetooth module installed last week and my mechanic had to reprogram as the SOS kept looking for the factory phone. Altough the phone was not activated it still had 911 service. Once car could not see the phone it kept throwing out messages in protest. Apparently Mercedes built in some redundancy into the SOS systems so it took a while to work through alll the different modules.

2 hours labor to install and remove all modules.

I am a good customer with several cars and have reffered a lot of people to him so probably got a bit of a break on the amount of time. He is also very technical so probably can cover more ground faster than most.
