Economy !!!
Last week they announced a petrol strike, and yes everyone panicked and
queued up and bought the place dry. I decided to go on a economy drive,,
switched to economy and kept at about 50 mph. After nearly a week the petrol gauge has hardly moved and it says I am doing 34 mpg. Last night
they called off the strike. Oh God I drove home like a man possessed, foot flat
to the floor and making mincemeat of everything no matter what they were
driving, I just had to get my own back. Never again unless it dries up.
