SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: 2006 SL55 SL63 Conversion for sale
This is what many call an SL63 Conversion. The car has been upgraded to be identical to a 2009 – 2011 SL63. All of the parts and panels were purchased from a Mercedes dealership here is Southern California. This Conversion is IDENTICAL from the outside to an SL63 not an SL550. All of the panels are OEM and the fitment is to specification from Mercedes. If you have looked at any other SL63 Conversions you know that the fitment and finish is always poor and not to factory specification. That is not the case with my car. My car can be placed right next to a brand new SL63 and you would not know or see the difference. I welcome you to come and take a look, you will not be disappointed.
The interior of the car has the aluminum trim and suede inserts on the steering wheel. I would rate the interior as 9.5 out of 10 and the exterior a 9.5 out of 10.
The car is also listed on Autotrader (the contact on Autotrader is Rafael, he will immediately forward your interest to me and I will contact you the same day).

EDIT: The wheels were also never offered on 2nd facelift cars (neither AMG, nor standard R230). The gunmetal 2piece thingies were introduced with the SL65 or on 55s PP.
Are these the OEM wheels or replica?

Yea, I agree that they are a slight give away. I liked the smoked tail lights so I kept them, although the clear 3rd brake light would be nice. Also the wheels are OEM and I think they look much better than the new wheels on the SL63 so I kept my original wheels.
Thanks for the response!

I've heard good things about NAC as well. Not sure of their mileage requirements for the top plan.
