New owner and have some technical questions.

Hello everyone,

I've just recently purchased a 2005 SL55 and I have a couple of technical questions for now. I am very new to this whole Mercedes culture because it's my first Mercedes, so please bear with me.

I tried to read the manual a few times already but I can't seem to operate the DVD in my car and I need to clarify some things about the car phone.

About the DVD in my car, every time I try to play a DVD whether I'm driving or not this always appear on my screen. "To prevent the driver from being distracted, the picture is faded out."

Now for my car phone. Does my car have to have a phone cradle in order for my regular cellphone's blue tooth to link up with my car phone? Can somebody please help me? Thank you

Oh I see, I guess the dealer I bought my car from is going to install it for me then. Since They claimed in the ad that my car is "Equipped with a blue tooth for hands free calls." Hmmm. Thanx okbarnett
