IMO
For a 4th-5th car i like the SL600 better. you can do a flash and have more hp than a stock 65 not to mention the 15-20k you'll save buying the 600.
if this was going to be driven more than 5-6k for miles per year i'd look sl65.
thank you

decision
Makes sense........with limited mileage......I drive about 7K with mine.....
Make sure the ignition coil packs on the 600 are upgraded item #s so it will handle the flash okay without misfire issues........may set you back a few grand.........but makes car run issue free....

I'll do a further search of misfiring on this site and hopefully can find the numbers of the two coil packs.....if not.......
I just did a quick search on "Misfiring" and there was a S600 with the issue......
But do a search on coil packs, V-12, misfiring, etc. and there was a thread that had the part numbers.....there also was a thread that advised upgrading coil packs before a tune......sorry I couldn't find the part numbers that quick for you...Mercedes dealer may be able to help with superceded part numbers, etc.....probably best to inquire there....
