I think the stock wheels look better than the wheels on there

And I dont. Stock wheels are SO boring and similar style is found on every AMG here. The car came with these wheels and I think they are a very good option till I find what I really want.

Hi Chris,

remember me from the W164 forum?

I have to agree about the wheels: I think the standard 19" performance wheels are the best rims to put on a R230. Here's a pic of my ride with these wheels on. Mine are painted glossy black though...

I removed the Lorinser RS8 wheels in my signatur pic a couple of months ago.

Did you replace the alarm siren (common SL problem)while the fenders were removed? Much easier to access the siren when fenders removed.
