The leather used by Pagani in the Huayra came in from Italy earlier this week...I stopped by the shop to check on the GT-R and we decided to open the package of leather...10 hides...man these are big *** cows. This leather is sooooooo soft and rich I can't even describe it properly...
We will be using thicker black deviated stitching for the work...it'll be nice.

Excellent... complete custom upholstery are rather rare on car projects . This leather seems to be from the highest quality... I really can't wait for the whole thing to be completed.

You should be able to do every square inch of the interior! Can't wait to see the final results!
Are you planning on embroidering the AMG logo in the seats? Would be very cool in the deviated stitching! Or maybe embossing the logo? Might like that even better!

The car is finally coming back from the body shop this week...the headlights were put in but not wired...that'll get done@ C2Design.
The Revozport rear carbon diffuser was redone...it was yellowing and scuffed up a bit. Now it is better than original...

Coming together @ the body shop...seems like a snail's pace but we use them because all the lines are always good and paint is exceptional. Still a lot of small bits to come together and more finish polishing so we are looking @ Friday before it gets back to C2Design for interior and trunk dismantle (for upholstery) and wheel offset measurements. The Brembo BBK kit will get put on later...

Pics from today...the SL65 is finally back @ C2Design...so much more to do...details are a biatch!
Before any new folks viewing this freak out...those wheels are from the SL65 prior to the wide body kit...you can't really gauge how wide it is based on the current wheel/tire setup ((the new wheels will be machined centers, body color windows, polished lip, and black barrels). I think it is a good balance as far ask kits go...not overly done but enough that you do a quick second look and wonder whats going on there? The rear CF spoiler, the updated CF side mirrors, CF front lip center, CF vent fins, and rear/side badging still need to be put on. The tail pipes will go back to polished look, too.
Oh...the interior needs to get gutted and interior CF needs to get redone. The engine cover CF will also get redone...all in a tighter CF weave.

Looking sick man! Where did you get the CF vents on the side of the bumper if you don't mind me asking?
