SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Upcoming C2Design/AMGfan Wide Body Build
I don't even wanna to know what they set you back... You take modding to the extreme
& I thought I went a little overboard on my sl build pPhhbbbtt..Your FDL Plate should read "DOIN IT RT" I kno too many symbols ie 7 allowed etc but something along those lines etc..
Edit: Yeah the shots w/ur wheels literally look like the entire car should be concealed under a giant jewlery glass/case.. Having said that you ABSOLUTELY need to upgrade the rear taillights & center light to do the rest of your impeccable mods justice.. The newer taillighting instantly brought car jewlery to mind when I saw them in person at dealership on a real black, I instantly knew the widebody would accept nothing less..
Last Edit lol.. Your build inspires me.. And I know mods are innate to each & everyone of us but I vote you color match the CENTER portion of your wheels to match the cars body color, my thinking is your wheel choice is so ornate & the centers being the only brushed silver parts on car "inmop" it draws unbalanced attention to them & needs slight muting to bring back balance to your BBK Brembo's & the rest of beautiful widebody work.. Again just an idea as you/others may feel different..

This dude has taste. He can't golf worth a crap, but he's fun to hang out with.

Can't wait to see this thing in person.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
1) The bottom of the wing was filled in because it wasn't flat.
2) There were metal plates for posts to be attached too.
3) Then carbon fiber was applied, autoclaved, clear coated, and polished.
But if you just want the wing to be placed on top of the rear deck without any posts you won't need to fill the bottom of the wing. You would just need to get a CF guy to convert it to CF. I am not sure if Prior sells it as a standalone piece.

- Seats are at upholsterer and are all apart...we went over the patterns of the seats so we were on the same page. Not going with typical MB look...not over the top just different.
- The rear diffuser is at the body shop getting the exhaust openings reshaped to fit the new exhaust dual exhaust tip shape...then carbon fiber gets applied
- All new vents were installed
- Door panels are still awaiting for the top CF door spears to be redone
- The CF side mirrors and front center splitter will probably be the last thing to put on...
- The final stance will get set once everything is on the car...it sits too low in the rear and too high up front
- The final fabrication of the wing posts are ongoing...we did preliminary testing of the angle of the wing today...probably need 12-15 degree shims to make it look right. Final fabrication of the posts will be seamless as far as noticing the incorporated shims.
Here are some pics from today...

Good choise also regarding the wheel setup….

Happy Now???
The rear bumper had to be removed to get the old Revozport CF diffuser off to get the reworked Prior Design diffuser on and test fitted with the new exhaust openings. Below is the roughed out exhaust openings...there will be an additional brow above the exhaust tips to give it a more finished look. Once we test fit it at the body shop then the diffuser gets the carbon fiber treatment to balance out the CF rear wing. It just wouldn't look right being just in satin black the way it was originally.
