SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: hi is SL 55 amg transmission fit to SL500 engine?
I will install kennes bell supercharger to sl500 ... but I worry about transmission...
SL55's transmission fit to sl500 engine? at least bolt pattern..
and how about comuncation with ecu?
I think It will be no problem..

Is it worth change transmission from sl500 to sl55. If I upgrade sl500 engine with supercharger My aim is 700 hp...

you can also get the 722.649 which a transmission from a v12 TT cars they have a higher torque rating than the 722.643
yes they will bolt up. Make sure you also get the torque convertor for the same transmission.

i assumed that a different transmission model and unit will even more so require coding/ mating.
it is interesting to note that similar transmissions in the e class do not require coding/ mating- just adaptations reset and that is optional too. go figure. i do know that for a fact too.
come to think of it is it possible that brand new transmissions need to be coded (those are the only ones i have seen swapped) while already coded transmissions to some other car might be transplanted without a problem. not sure.
