yes it will fit you may need to reflash your TCU to accept the 722.643 SL55 transmission

as long as the TCU has the software for a 722.643 you will be fine and will not need any password in DAS
you can also get the 722.649 which a transmission from a v12 TT cars they have a higher torque rating than the 722.643
yes they will bolt up. Make sure you also get the torque convertor for the same transmission.

a different new unit in the r230 of even identical transmission needs to be coded. i know that for a fact. you cant just swap transmissions as they are serialized.

i assumed that a different transmission model and unit will even more so require coding/ mating.

it is interesting to note that similar transmissions in the e class do not require coding/ mating- just adaptations reset and that is optional too. go figure. i do know that for a fact too.

come to think of it is it possible that brand new transmissions need to be coded (those are the only ones i have seen swapped) while already coded transmissions to some other car might be transplanted without a problem. not sure.

It's little problem for me... If I confront software issue.. I must reassemble transmission with new transmission part.. I think It's okay with it..

Hmmm... mating.... It's bother....^____^ thank you for deep knowledge
