Lightbulb DYNOJET SL55 before/after MODs

As suggested on the forum I took my semi-stock 2003 SL55 to a local shop to get Dynoed. Currently, the car has new plugs, new abc pump, new ac compressor, new secondary heat exchanger, new johnson cm30, new belts, new tensioner, new sc bearing, new transmission oil/filter. In the near future, I will add the Eurocharged 175mm pulley, ecu, tcu tune and open up the exhaust by removing primary resonators and adding an xpipe while reusing the existing mufflers.

With that in mind, I believe that my secondary heat exchanger and pump might have not have been bled properly. The car sounded great and the coolant temp was slightly above 80*c ~200*f. I wish I had my scangauge to monitor the IAT and MAP to see that the boost does not drop off.

Please take a look at the attached output of only 398hp max and 460 torque max. In all runs we did a 3rd gear pull and idled the car for about 10 minutes between the runs.

One more thing I noticed was that the car was running very rich towards the end I hope that Eurocharged will take care of this during the tune.

Also, the car was not in dyno mode and in the future I will make sure to bring the software to put it in dyno mode.

Do the minus 10 mod. Split the cooling system while keeping your stock HE in the loop along with the front mount HE. Go from intercooler to factory HE then to front mount HE. Should work well.

Thanks, I have read a couple of people have gone that route with a small overflow tank mounted next to the coolant overflow tank.

Just to make sure I understand this correctly. You suggest that the current inlet to the Johnson CM30 pump would be attached to the outlet of the stock HE. Then, I would add an extra hose from the stock HE to the overflow and from overflow tank to the inlet of the Johnson CM30. This would thereby split the 2 systems.

Blue line out would go into the front HE instead of to the pump. Split system explained in detail ....

I believe I have an understanding and have put the following image together as far as how to seperate the Engine Circuit from Supercharger Circuit. To make this happen you will need a reservoir and a secondary heat exchanger. I have used the PTE one from Ebay but it had to be modified (write up coming shortly...)

I cant make out the text in the pic. The hose coming out of the hot side that goes into the IC will be vented to the res and the other outlet on the res will be teed to the pull side of the system.
