I just installed the SL65 tune and...Holy Smokes this thing is fast! It was fast before but almost scary now. Traction is certainly an issue now for the 295's I'm running.
Only issue I had so far was uploading my original tune but that was my issue with windows 8 and Aleks worked with me and answered all my question. I appreciate his patience.
It's actually a pretty simple process to download the original tune and upload the performance tune.
Ill take it for a nice long drive in the next couple of days and post my thoughts.
As for now I am seriously pleased!

Im liking it. took it for a long drive including traffic and there are no ill effects so far.
Pretty docile if you want to be but crazy acceleration with little effort. More responsive.
The weather is mild here, around 75-80. I'm interested to see how it reacts when the ambient temperature goes up.
So far, so good!

I've done both my C32 and SL65 with Aleks. I purchased two flashers. The whole process of reading the stock tune, sending it off to Aleks, and uploading the tuned files to the car was real easy. Very happy with the results! Especially the SL65!

this is very interesting, will it work with a apple mac book air? what are the delivery costs for the unit to the uk? all in price for map, unit and delivery to the uk
and as before what can I expect from a sl63 amg 2009 6.2 v8 N/A with the performance pack
speed limiter already at 189mph so I assume it will be unlimited?

There are more details available there. Standard 2009 SL63 is +28 hp and +21 tq. It also says the remove the limiter. They ship worldwide so you should be able to get shipping costs. It was $50 to ship to my place in Canada. I haven't tried it yet, but am planning to order and have it shipped to my place in the US the next time I'm down there to reduce shipping + tax + broker + duty.

How long does it take to install the pulley? Is it simple install. Do you have to get a different belt or is one supplied with it.
So the flasher will also read codes and erase them? Will it also let you monitor other engine parameters as well in real time?

well, i have emailed them to get more info as well, and 2 weeks later i'm still waiting on a response. I agree with most of you, will need to see dyno chart on these vehicles before i take someones word there IS so much gain in HP. as others have mentioned it, this car is not cheap to repair.

Pulley is very simple to install with shop tools. All of the pulleys come with installation instructions.
The flasher will not read codes or clear them. It is strictly for flashing the ECU correctly

do you have a dyno for a sl63? my location is Middlesbrough uk, ts1 5np can you let me know the all in cost for a tuner and delivery? bare in mind mine has the performance pack so has the raised speed limiter to 190mph.

I have 2 AMG cars a 2005 SL55 and a 2003 C32. Can the flashing unit have a tune for both cars or do I need 2 units?
