SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: RAWAMG build is on!
It is all good now.
We had 700wtrq but we lowered it via boost control because we were breaking parts & I would rather not have to start replacing big parts like drive line & tranny right now since I haven't really drove the damn thing in six months

Now go crank that boost control back up and wake up that inner Beast!!

Looking forward to your next level of mods!
I will once I upgrade a few parts underneath the beast... I want to enjoy it a little bit before I break it

Scott check out post #162
Thanks Paul... can't wait to see what your TT build lays down

BTW is that a pic when you still had the FTP intake?
Yes it was actually taken before I sent it to EC & I still have the "Craptech" intake on my ride but have made several modification to it, drilled hole & welded bung for valve breather hose, reworked & reinforced the Y-Pipe base to fit on the T/B correctly. Also while on the Dyno we found that the filters in this intake were robbing me of horse power (gain approx. 50whp when removed) so as soon as I get it back those will be replaced with K&N filters to see if that cures the problem (K&N says it will) if that doesn't work the intake will come off in favor of a different set up. It looks cool and all but I am not sacrificing anything for performance

I think it may be a permanent fixture on my face now & I am one of those guys that never smiles. I couldn't be happier with the work that John did or the constant communication that we have had with each other both during & after my build... he is a heck of a guy! The Jerry's tunes speak for themselves really & the wizard seemingly left nothing on the table while taking care of my BEAST

Car is going to Wheel Medic tonight to have the wheels & calipers refinished & I am adding some 10mm spacers as well. Then it is going to Good Guys detailing for a complete detail & paint correction. By the time that I get her back from all that my MB Arts adjustable toe links should be in (ship from CA yesterday) so along with those & the MB Arts adjustable camber arms that I already have it will be back to IPS for installation, ride height adjustment, & four wheel alignment. I will update with some new pics at that point & maybe by then my RevoZport RBS diffuser will be in

What are you having done while you are @ EC?
For now I will keep modding the one that I have to get it right.
This is the end result after the MBArts cambers arms & toe links are now installed, wheels & calipers refinished, ride height adjusted, new front lip installed (I damaged the old one when I put it on the hauler to go to EC), & rear wheel spacers added:

Front calipers done correctly (not the "Craptech" single stage spray paint way while on the car) in torch red with black slightly curved AMG logos & clear coated to a completely smooth finish:

Rear calipers done same as above but with a different AMG logo:
Installed MBArts rear camber arms & toe links:

Wheels powder coated gloss black (they were satin black before):
