HELP - Steering Wheel Menu
Just picked up an 05 SL65 and am trying to work my way thru the menu - yes, I read the "how to" in the manual but... I used to laugh at my dad when he'd have trouble working the "new" electronic radios in his cars. Well, it's come back to haunt me!
Does anyone have a "dummy's" version of navigating successfully thru the steering wheel menu? Here's a simple question - once you've checked the choice you want, how do you actually select it? What button? I guess I'm getting too old to catch-on quickly (old dogs...right?).
BTW - luvin the 65. Slightly less than 35k miles and in excellent shape. Previous owner never drove it in the snow and only once in the rain. MB maintained w/all records. A dream come true...
Many thanks. P

try the manual again....I had the same issue, but slowed down and it all made sense......I hit the menu button to lock in most choices I believe....

MBWorld Fanatic!
I agree the menus can be confusing, esp. on the MBs equipped with a lot of features/ options as there's even more submenus in there.
Anyways, after you get to a choice you want, I usually press the "call now" button which accepts the choice. See if that works.

Thx GenSN, you may have solved my primary prob. I sat last night for an hour of so working the menu; for the life of me I couldn't find in the manual how to lock in my choice. Perhaps my vision is going but I have yet to find where the manual says use the "call now" button is used. I'll give it a try. Thanks!
